Reto Educooperativo - Educooperative Challenge

  Soy profesor de Biología en el IES El Caminàs y gracias al programa Erasmus+, he podido participar y disfrutar el pasado mes de mayo de la acción formativa “Iceland Outdoor Education”. Durante los siete días de curso he podido estar en contacto con profesorado de otras once nacionalidades europeas con quienes he compartido mis experiencias educativas y cómo se enfrentan en otros países a los nuevos retos de la enseñanza del siglo XXI. Combinando sesiones teóricas en el aula con otras prácticas en la naturaleza, he podido conocer el rico patrimonio natural de Islandia. Así, por ejemplo, nos han enseñado cómo los volcanes han modelado su paisaje, la importancia de la energía geotermal o la espectacularidad de sus cataratas. También pudimos comprobar cómo el cambio climático está afectando a los glaciares. Todos estos fenómenos geológicos son explicados dentro del contexto de la Tectónica de Placas.                 Getting started with our Educooperative Challenge and with the aim of learning about one of the most trustful Education Systems in Europe, two of us teachers at IES El Caminàs have taken part in the course “Introduction to the Finnish Education System” held last 1st-6th May 2023 held at the Europass Teacher Academy in Helsinki. Our experience has been both motivating and enriching. We attended course lectures on the ground foundations of current Finnish education both in primary and secondary schools. In addition, we have also had the opportunity to learn about other countries school systems such as Portugal, Germany, France and Bulgaria.
